Buriganga river with a few boats, 1992
Despite being the recipient of 80% of Dhaka’s sewage and other pollutants the Buriganga always looks magnificent in spite of its human adversaries. This river featured heavily in the film ‘Going East’ which was shown last Saturday at the Purcell Room on the South Bank.
