Save Liverpool Buses

July 19, 2017

Scores of Liverpool bus passengers turned out to protest on Monday against the proposed cut of the C4 & C5 bus routes by Merseytravel. The cuts will hit pensioners, the disabled and people with mobility problems the hardest. The mood of the crowd who gathered in Queen’s Square was defiant. They plan to continue campaigning to retain what was described as an “invaluable community resource that will mean people will be isolated in their homes if it is cut by Merseytravel”.
