Ben Slow Was Here

May 26, 2012

Ben Slow says “I paint what I see – in the urban environment, in the media and in the people of the city that I love”. Its as if everywhere his brush has visited is turned into an urban art gallery; his work breathes a new dynamic into the street and is an installation that renders many art galleries redundant. Once he has finished a piece the dialogue begins. The work has the gravity of a great operatic set or propaganda for equity in urban lives increasingly battered by consumerism. We will be working with Ben as part of our fourth film about the East End. He will be painting in and around petticoat lane. Watch this space.
