Adelphi Hotel Liverpool
The Adelphi Hotel Liverpool is the third hotel to be built on the site. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. Built with Portland stone, it was designed by Frank Atkinson. When it was opened in 1914, it was “regarded as the most luxurious hotel outside London”.
My untitled piece below was inspired by the staircase in the Adelphi. The first person to email me (maxwellphotouk@yahoo.co.uk) can have it for £60 inclusive of postage & packing.
