Street Stars

I’ve always regarded street graffiti and posters as a visual source for future projects. A poster that has become weathered and distressed on the street bears the marks of its journey from the printing press to where it’s been posted like the lines on an adults face. This image is made from two photographs; one of a torn Bollywood poster (photographed om Brick Lane) and one of an old lady on Whitechapel Road in the early 1980s.
