A Few Minutes in a Cheshire Street Cafe
April 17, 2011
Just a few minutes in a Cheshire Street Cafe. It was a pleasure photographing the two subjects at the table next to me but I must confess I was also drawn by the wallpaper.
It was almost compulsory to smoke in a cafe in those days and the atmosphere would become foggier as the day progressed. The second photograph (below) was taken after the man on the right had rolled his own cigarette from tobacco in the tin on the table.

I know as i worked in there as a kid!!!! ;- )
Thanks for letting me know about the Cafe and its true location! I suspected that it might be in Cheshire Street. It would be great if you could send me some information about working in the cafe so that I can put it in the blog. If not I will correct the mistake anyway.
Many thanks for letting me know and I look forward to hearing from you ….
