A Wake
With the recent sad departure of my mother, Mary Maxwell, my family and I had cause to revisit Quinlan’s Pub in Tralee. Following the funeral everyone gathered in Quinlan’s for an impromptu ‘wake’. We were able to remember her and drown our sorrows at the same time. We gave her a good send off as can be seen from these photographs.

Very sorry to hear about your mother Phil and I send my condolences. These are lovely pics and capture the spirit of the wake beautifully. I’ve been to Tralee a couple of times and though I don’t think I’ve been to Quinlan’s I feel as if I really know it now.
