Hi Phil,
A friend has just forwarded me an email about a tour around the Old London Hospital in Spitalfields on 28th April. I am a medium format photographer who specialises in run down interiors and would absolutely love the opportunity to see around this extraordinary building. Alas the tour is already fully booked and I’ve enquired to see if there might be any chance of getting onto a waiting list, or whether there might be another tour arranged. Might you be able to help or advise in any way?
I recently produced a series on the Convalescent Home for Officers at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight (the one time home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert) that ran in two wings of the house 1904-2000. You can find the images below (or on my website http://www.onanisland.co.uk) https://www.facebook.com/pg/OnAnIslandPhotography/photos/?tab=album&album_id=694131137394027
So a penny for your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
With many thanks. Zoe Barker

Hi Zoe, I took the photos of the old London Hospital around 10 years ago. Unfortunately most of the buildings I photographed have now been demolished. In terms of getting access to the remaining buildings I would suggest you get in touch with the London Hospital museum (if it is still going) & tell them of your interest. They might be able to advise you about gaining access. Good luck & BTW really love your work. Best wishes, Phil
