As a long term resident of Fieldgate Mansions I really appreciate these pictures. I moved into Myrdle Street in the late ’70s and have lived on Romford Street since the late ’80s, but have only been taking my own photos around here for the past year or two, though I’ve written many poems based around the streets here. Would be very interested to see any more you have from the ’80s onwards.
