From Dhaka to London

May 17, 2012

The first time I went to Dhaka in Bangladesh I remember being overwhelmed by the magnificence  of the powerful Buriganga river which runs through the City. The overcrowded City spills into the river which is home for every conceivable size of boat. On first sight I remember thinking that it was how I imagined the river Thames would be during the time of Charles Dickens. These images are an echo of my first impressions as well as a comment on globalisation.
