Melaka was one of the greatest trading ports in Southeast Asia. It’s Chinatown was granted Unesco World Heritage Site status in 2008. Here are some photographs taken this week.

I was in Malaka seven years ago, what a place – from the Portugese/Dutch/British colonial era buildings up on the hill to the Chinese quarter via the shopping mall it is such a happening place. And the food, cheaper than chips and ten times as tasty.
