Moving to Liverpool

I’ve now moved my home and studio to the city I left 35 years ago, Liverpool. I will be visiting London regularly so that I can continue to photograph Whitechapel and the surrounding area. I first began photography in Liverpool and I’m looking forward to building on my Liverpool archive which began in the 1970s. Here are some Liverpool photographs from that period.

Hello, Mr Maxwell I was in your class at St.Michaels you probably won’t remember me, but my brother in law found an old photo on line I think its me James Otty & another lad think it was taken in gleave square don’t remember it being taken so I looked up your site & found a photo of the school & I think my sister is at the back of the class, I remember assembly & your slideshows good times, glad you have gone on to be a recognized photographer well done best wishes T.Neary
