The bottom picture of the Beigel shop makes me nostalgic for the year I lived in Clapton. Cliche though it might be there is something about London that no other place I have ever lived or visited comes close to having. I may have only lived there for a year but it has infected me like a virus, one which I am happy to have. Fortunately I live just over an hour away by train, so I’m easily able to get my fix several times a year. What I MUST do, though, at least once, is leave the centre of London and catch the train out to Clapton Station so I can take a walk around what soon came to be my home village all those years ago.
