Collage From A Photograph
The collage below is based on a photograph I took in 1983 on Brick Lane. At that time the woman in the photograph could often be seen around Spitalfields. She lived a few hundred yards from me in Flower and Dean walk. I took a dozen or so shots of her in a space of a few years. She always wore the same coat. The original photograph was first published in my book ‘Brick Lane’.
