Liverpool Austerity Fight Screening
Thanks to everyone who supported the latest screening of Austerity Fight in Liverpool. It was a full house and a great atmosphere. Our hosts the Plaza cinema were amazing and the evening was kicked off brilliantly by the Liverpool Socialist Singers. The Q&A was chaired with gusto by Audrey White (who was recently nominated by the TUC as one of the most influential women of the last 100 years). Local MP Peter Dowd welcomed the shadow foreign secretary who gave an incisive speech at the end of the evening on why we need a Labour Government to get rid of austerity and its dreadful impact on millions of people. DVD’s of the film will be available for purchase online in March.
