Above is a photograph of Whitechapel Waste which transformed itself into a market for second hand goods every Sunday. The building in the distance was a Victorian ‘ragged school’ which is now luxury flats. I took the photograph below, which features the tower block I live in, from the roof of the former school before it was refurbished.
