Demolition

From Cable Street to Brick Lane and Nelson Mandela
It is getting closer to the world premiere of our film ‘From Cable Street to Brick Lane’. You can book tickets by clicking here.
The film touches on a range of struggles including a reference to the time Nelson Mandela was in prison through the use of the photograph below. For a considerable number of years there was a 24 hour ‘non stop picket’ outside the South African embassy in Trafalgar Square. Last year was the 25th anniversary of the picket which lasted for nearly four years despite efforts by the police to close it down.
