Chicksand Football Team
Taken thirty years ago these photographs celebrate the exhilaration which children can derive from a street and a football. The little girl was clearly the team boss!

Waiting for a Customer
Waiting for a customer. Sadly this warehouse has, like many others, been pulled down and replaced with “luxury housing”. I used to love rooting around in the many warehouses on Cheshire street: full of characters and bargains; a second hand dreamland.

Wasted
I have always been fascinated with the way people dispose of their waste whilst walking the streets. Given the lack of waste bins and the unwillingness among some people to recycle their waste, organic urban landfill sites spring up which have their own conceptual messages. Here are a couple.
