The precisely planted rice below reminds me of another photograph I took of ovehead electrical wiring.

Many of the geometric patterns found in the natural world are often accidentally recreated in man made constructs such as those found in this seemingly random arrangement of electrical power lines in Kuala Lumpur (below). In this case the parrallel lines in the rice field are man made and mimic the patterns in the growing rice.
