Stop & Search
Whilst at university my niece would often be greeted by a contingent of the metropolitan police and their ‘drugs dogs’ as she emerged from the underground. After a while she started to collect the stop & search certificates and pin them up in her room. I thought the addition of photo both self portraits (below) made an interesting composition. I’m not at liberty to say whether or not the police found anything!

The police mainly targeted young black & Asian males. Statistics would show that it would be unlikely for the man below to be stopped.
