Poll Tax: 25th Anniversary
Twenty five years ago we got rid of Margaret Thatchers hated Poll Tax. A massive campaign of non payment culminating in a huge demonstration in Trafalgar square combined to end the tax. The demonstration ended in a riot provoked by the police.
