Sclater Street: Film & Digital
I stopped using film and went ‘digital’ in 2002. I was a late convert to the new format but I have no regrets about using the new technology. I still love exploring my film archive and discovering photographs I haven’t seen in years. Most of my negatives are now housed at the Bishopsgate Institute in London in the safe hands of archivist Stefan Dickers. There are many images that are still waiting to be digitised and I keep ‘discovering’ new images. Here are a few of Sclater Street (just off Brick Lane) in East London; I’ve mixed them with some more recent digital images.
