Hi, Phil, Great photos (especially the name Vallance Road, which brings back so many childhood memories!) I was the subject of your Cable Street film. Now, I have a granddaughter, whose partner, Adam Buchanan, has been involved in adapting Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’ to 1936, having a female Shylock and including the battle of Cable Street – all this for the Watford Theatre..
Naturally, I’ve been interviewed re Cable Street for it.
Would be good to hear what you’re up to these days.
