Great pictures — very evocative of the internationalism of London. The last looks very like JGBallard.
The London Underground really is the underworld.
Fantastic — all these personalities in one surreal ‘stage set’, that could be pulled away at any moment. And yet London always gives a dual impression — on the one hand it feels constantly new and changing; yet it feels ancient, as if a centuries-old current from pre-history pulls it onward.
